This re-release features a robust roster of 36 characters from both SNK and Capcom franchises. Expect to see favorites like Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui from Fatal Fury, the Mars People from Metal Slug, and Tessa from Red Earth, alongside Capcom legends Ryu and Ken from Street Fighter. Capcom's Future Crossover Plans

In a recent Dexerto interview, Street Fighter 6 producer Shuhei Matsumoto hinted at Capcom's future ambitions for crossover fighting games. While a new Marvel vs. Capcom or a Capcom/SNK collaboration are possibilities, Matsumoto emphasized the significant time and effort required.

Matsumoto highlighted Capcom's current focus: reintroducing classic titles to a new audience on modern platforms. He stressed the importance of familiarizing players with these franchises to build a foundation for future projects.

Regarding the re-release of past Marvel titles, Matsumoto explained that years of discussions with Marvel finally yielded results, partly due to the increased community engagement around tournaments like EVO. The shared enthusiasm between fans and developers has paved the way for these classic games to thrive once more.
