Talofa Games has launched Monster Walk, their new monster-collecting RPG, into early access. The game is now available on Android and iOS in the UK, Canada, Sweden, Norway, Australia, Finland, and Denmark, with a full release planned for the US and other regions later this year.
Talofa Games first gained attention with Run Legends, an interactive fitness title that stood out for its innovative gameplay. Players had to physically move—walking or running—to unleash attacks and skills during battles.
Their second release continues this blend of movement and fantasy. Monster Walk is an adventure RPG entirely driven by your steps. Walk your dog, head to the café, or stroll through the park while exploring mysterious worlds and catching exotic creatures.
Every step you take, whether tracked by your phone or wearable device, converts into in-game energy. Use this energy to gather resources, hatch eggs, and train your monsters. So each step builds your stamina, powers your combat skills, and helps upgrade your home base.
There's no shortage of fascinating monsters to collect and bond with. Each creature has special abilities, and you can level them up and deepen your connection through daily movement. As you explore, you'll also unlock new regions and upgrade your home hub.
Get a first look at the game in the trailer below.
Battles in Monster Walk offer solid tactical depth. Expect fast-paced, bullet-hell style combat where you dodge, block, and counter enemy attacks. Random real-time encounters will surprise you as you walk.
The game also features daily and weekly challenges. You’ll be tasked with hitting step targets, hunting rare monsters, and completing seasonal quests.
If you live in one of the early access regions, you can download Monster Walk now from the Google Play Store.
