Ted Price Retires After 30 Years at Insomniac Games

Ted Price, the visionary behind Insomniac Games, has announced his retirement after an illustrious 30-year career. Under his leadership, Insomniac developed iconic franchises like "Spyro the Dragon," "Ratchet & Clank," and "Marvel’s Spider-Man." Price shared, "I actually made this decision last year. For me, after over 30 years of leading Insomniac, I felt it was simply time to step aside and let others pave the way for our team."
The reins of the company are now in the hands of three seasoned Insomniac veterans: Ryan Schneider, Chad Dezern, and Jen Huang, who will serve as Co-Studio Heads. Price expressed confidence in the transition, stating, "I believe strongly that for us to continue our success, we need leaders at the top who are intimately familiar with how we do things, leaders who have helped build our culture and our processes, and who have earned people’s trust."
