While declining to comment on specific projects before official announcements, Zelnick used a compelling analogy: "Generally speaking, we support our properties when consumers are actively engaged."
He cited the continued success of NBA 2K Online in China as an example. Despite launching a sequel in 2017, the original remains active due to its substantial player base. Zelnick emphasized Take-Two's willingness to support legacy titles with thriving communities. This suggests GTA Online's future hinges on continued player engagement, even after GTA 6's launch.
