Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Update Reverses Controversial Zombies Change
Treyarch has addressed player concerns regarding recent changes to Black Ops 6's Zombies Directed Mode. Following community feedback, the January 9th update reversed a controversial alteration to zombie spawn delays. This change, implemented on January 3rd, extended the time between rounds and zombie spawns after five looped rounds, negatively impacting kill farming and camo challenges. The update restores the spawn delay to approximately 20 seconds at most after five looped rounds.
Beyond the Directed Mode reversal, the update includes:
Multiplayer Enhancements:
The update also boosts XP rewards from the Red Light, Green Light mode's match bonus and incorporates various stability improvements.
Looking Ahead:
Treyarch acknowledges that some fixes require further testing and will be included in the Season 2 update launching January 28th. This includes addressing the Vermin double-attack bug and enabling the Shock Charge tactic in Terminus. The Season 2 update will also introduce additional bug fixes and adjustments. Players are encouraged to complete the Citadelle des Morts main quest before Season 1 Reloaded concludes.
