Will Wright, creator of The Sims, reveals more about his new AI-powered life simulation game, Proxi, in a recent Twitch livestream. Proxi, initially announced in 2018, is finally moving towards release, with details emerging from a Gallium Studio "not-a-trailer-trailer" and this latest interview on BreakthroughT1D's channel.

The game, described as an "AI life sim built from your memories," allows players to input personal memories as text. Proxi then transforms these memories into animated scenes, editable using in-game assets for a more personalized recreation. Each added memory ("mem") trains the game's AI, expanding the player's "mind world"—a navigable 3D environment of hexagons.

This mind world populates with Proxies representing friends and family as more memories are added. Memories are arranged on a timeline and linked to Proxies to reflect relationships and events. Remarkably, Proxies can even be exported to other game environments like Minecraft and Roblox.
Wright emphasized Proxi's focus on a deeply personal player experience, stating, "I found myself getting continuously closer and closer to the player... the more I can make a game about you, the more you'll like it."
Proxi is now featured on Gallium Studio's website, with platform announcements pending.
