War Thunder's "Firebirds" Update: New Aircraft and More!
Gaijin Entertainment has just announced the upcoming "Firebirds" update for War Thunder, arriving in early November. This major update boasts a significant addition of new aircraft, ground vehicles, and warships.
Among the exciting additions are iconic aircraft such as the stealthy American F-117 Nighthawk, the powerful Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber, and the versatile F-15E Strike Eagle.
F-117A Nighthawk: War Thunder's first stealth aircraft, utilizing unique design and materials to evade radar and infrared detection. Its angular shape, radar-absorbing materials, and shielded engines made it a near-invisible force during Operation Desert Storm.
F-15E Strike Eagle: An enhanced F-15 variant, boasting a 50% larger payload capacity and a ground target detection radar. This heavy hitter carries a devastating arsenal, including AGM-65 Maverick missiles, laser-guided bombs, JDAMs, and even the GBU-39 satellite-guided bombs (20 at a time!).
The "Firebirds" update doesn't stop at the skies. New ground vehicles include the agile British FV107 Scimitar light tank. On the naval side, the French battleship Dunkerque makes a formidable appearance.
The new Aces High season is also underway, offering players the chance to unlock unique vehicles, trophies, and rewards through season completion and Battle Pass progression. Expect to find aircraft like the Bf 109 G-14, F2G-1, and La-11, along with powerful platoons (T54E2 and G6) and ships (HMS Orion and USS Billfish).
