Romancing SaGa Re:universe's global server is closing on December 2nd, 2024. While the Japanese version continues, this marks the end of a four-year run for the global release.
Two Months Remain
In-app purchases and Google Play Points exchanges have already ceased. The global version, launched in June 2020, has seen a mixed reception, unlike its popular Japanese counterpart. The lack of significant content updates, such as Solistia and 6-star units (available in Japan for nearly a year), contributed to player dissatisfaction.

This closure follows Square Enix's shutdowns of Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius and two Dragon Quest mobile titles earlier this year. Romancing SaGa Re:universe, a turn-based RPG based on the classic SaGa series, offers players two more months of gameplay. If you haven't experienced it, now's your chance to explore this visually stunning and musically rich title on the Google Play Store.
