The initial Wintervestigation quest directs players to SGT. Winter. These quests involve teaming up with Noir to uncover clues and discover new NPCs across the Chapter 6 map.
The quest marker will pinpoint SGT. Winter's location, even before you enter a match. He's near a plane crash site atop a snowy mountain, east of Warrior's Watch and south of Foxy Floodgate. It's close to Mariah Carey's in-game concert location.
SGT. Winter is an NPC patrolling near the plane wreckage. He's marked on your map and HUD with a speech bubble. Interact with him to access a menu offering a Holo Twister Assault Rifle, Blizzard Grenade, or dialogue options.
Select the magnifying glass icon to initiate the conversation about his Wintervestigation. He'll provide a new mission, sending you to Noir in Seaport City. Completing the dialogue rewards 25,000 XP.

Reaching SGT. Winter can be tricky, as the area is a popular drop zone. Consider waiting a few days for the crowds to thin. Alternatively, immediately purchase items from his shop—the Epic Holo Twister Rifle is a strong early-game weapon.
Utilize the plane wreckage for cover and prioritize grabbing nearby chests. Many players might only have pickaxes, making it possible to eliminate opponents with a good team and strategic looting.
