Rollic Tackles Contact Sport's Dangers in 'Power Slap'

Jan 03,2025 Author: Mia

Rollic's Power Slap mobile game is now available on iOS and Android! This adaptation of the controversial slapping "sport" features a roster of WWE superstars.

Rey Mysterio, Braun Strowman, and other WWE stars join the lineup, adding a familiar face to the high-impact gameplay. For the uninitiated, Power Slap involves contestants taking turns slapping each other until one loses consciousness. While the real-life sport is questionable, the mobile game offers a less physically risky alternative.

The game's development is interesting given UFC president Dana White's ownership of Power Slap and the recent merger of WWE and UFC to form TKO Holdings. This collaboration explains the inclusion of prominent WWE wrestlers.

More Than Just Slaps

Players can slap their way to victory with WWE champions like Rey Mysterio, Omos, Braun Strowman, and Seth "Freaking" Rollins. The full release includes additional game modes like PlinK.O, Slap’n Roll, and Daily Tournaments.

Rollic aims to make this unusual mobile game a hit, though the success will depend on whether the addition of popular WWE wrestlers is enough to draw in players.
