Get ready for gigantic Pokémon battles! Pokémon GO has officially announced the arrival of Dynamax Pokémon in its upcoming Max Out season. This exciting new feature will transform the gameplay experience.

The Max Out season kicks off September 10th at 10:00 a.m. local time and runs until September 15th at 8:00 p.m. local time. Prepare for a week of oversized Pokémon action!

Dynamax Pokémon Debut!

The season's launch will introduce Dynamax versions of classic Pokémon in 1-star Max Battles:

  • Bulbasaur
  • Charmander
  • Squirtle
  • Skwovet
  • Wooloo

Trainers can catch these Dynamax Pokémon (and their evolved forms!), with a chance to find Shiny versions! Special Field Research tasks and PokéStop Showcases will add to the excitement.

Special Research and Max Particle Packs

A special Seasonal Research story begins September 3rd, offering rewards like Max Particles and a new avatar item. This research continues until December 3rd.

Pokémon Go Dynamax Confirmed for Max Out Season

For a head start, an exclusive Max Particle Pack (4,800 particles) will be available on the Pokémon GO web store for $7.99 starting September 8th at 6:00 p.m. PDT. Max Particles are crucial for Dynamax battles.

Future Updates: Power Spots and Gigantamax?

Rumors point towards the arrival of Power Spots next month – dedicated locations for Max Battles. While Niantic hasn't confirmed this, the possibility of Gigantamax Pokémon joining the game remains, hinted at during this year's Pokémon World Championships.
