Get ready to celebrate the New Year in Pokémon GO! The annual festive event returns from December 30th to January 1st, 2025, bringing themed bonuses, special Pokémon encounters, and exciting ways to ring in the new year.
Following the Community Day event (December 21st-22nd), featuring returning Community Day Pokémon, the New Year's festivities begin!
This year's event offers a fantastic bonus: earn 2,025 XP for every Pokémon caught with an Excellent Throw! Enjoy immersive festive decorations and spectacular fireworks displays as you explore.
Expect increased encounters with festive Pokémon! Look out for Jigglypuff with a ribbon, Hoothoot in a New Year's outfit, and Wurmple sporting a party hat – and keep an eye out for their Shiny variants!
