XD Games recently unveiled the exciting details of Torchlight: Infinite's upcoming sixth season during a livestream. Get ready for a new hero, thrilling events, and a frosty new adventure!
The new hero, Selena, is a musician who can switch between two distinct forms: Bard Mode and Loud Song Mode. In Bard Mode, her attacks utilize foam that explodes in a dazzling display of color, triggering unique abilities. Loud Song Mode sacrifices mobility for devastating raw power, obliterating enemies with intense attacks.
This season's theme, "Frozen Canvas," plunges players into a frigid Netherrealm. Players will collect mystical Snowpaper Fragments to unlock new stages and battle enemies, while simultaneously gathering colors to create paintings. These paintings, believe it or not, unlock new abilities, skills, and hidden treasures!
The addition of Inspiration Essence introduces powerful support skills. These include Split Shot – Rapid Advance, transforming basic attacks into a relentless projectile barrage, and Groundshaker – Wrathful Vault, a devastating sky-diving attack. Corrosion returns, adding risk-reward to equipment upgrades.
The Netherrealm receives a visual overhaul, and the challenging Supreme Showdown pits players against twenty formidable bosses. Victory rewards players with a Legendary Season Pactspirit.
