Monster Hunter Wilds 2nd Open Beta Test Date Revealed

Monster Hunter: Wilds Second Open Beta Dates Announced

Capcom has announced the dates for the second open beta of Monster Hunter: Wilds, offering players another opportunity to experience the highly anticipated RPG before its launch on February 28, 2025. The beta will run across two weekends in February, building upon the success of the first beta test in late 2024.

Monster Hunter: Wilds promises a massive open-world adventure, featuring diverse environments and a vast array of monsters. The first beta introduced character creation, story segments, and hunts, setting the stage for this expanded second test.

The second open beta will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam during the following periods:

  • Weekend 1: February 6, 2025, 7:00 pm PT – February 9, 2025, 6:59 pm PT
  • Weekend 2: February 13, 2025, 7:00 pm PT – February 16, 2025, 6:59 pm PT

What Awaits in the Second Beta?

Returning content from the initial beta includes character creation, the story trial, and the Doshaguma hunt. A new challenge awaits with the addition of a Gypceros hunt, a fan-favorite monster. Furthermore, players can import their characters created during the first beta, eliminating the need to recreate them.

Capcom acknowledges feedback from the first beta, addressing concerns about visuals and weapon gameplay. The developer assures players that improvements are underway based on this feedback to enhance the game's quality before launch.

This second beta is crucial for both Capcom and fans, providing valuable time to refine the game and re-energize anticipation for what could be a landmark title in the Monster Hunter series. Whether a returning player or a newcomer, February promises an exciting hunt for all.
