Boasting plentiful rewards, including Primogems, it's a must-do for any player. Here's your guide to participation and the rewards awaiting you.
Exercise Surging Storm: Entry Requirements
To join the fray, you'll need:
- Adventure Rank 20 or higher.
- Completion of the Mondstadt Archon Quest Prologue.
Start your strategic journey at the Knights of Favonius Headquarters in Mondstadt.
Mastering the Art of War
The event begins with helpful tutorials. Don't be intimidated – it's simpler than it appears! Here's the lowdown:
Before each wargame, select your Combat Units (troops) and Stratagems (buffs/power-ups). Units come in various types (AoE Damage, Flying, Ranged, Melee), each with strengths and weaknesses (e.g., Melee counters Ranged).
Study your opponent's lineup beforehand! Preview their units and adjust yours using the bottom-right diagram showing unit effectiveness. Remember, changing your lineup costs Reinforcement Points, so strategize carefully.
Unit Roles Explained:
- Melee Units: High damage absorption, but slow.
- Ranged Units: Long-range attacks, but low health.
- AoE DMG Units: Damage multiple units simultaneously.
- Flying Units: Evade ground attacks, immune to certain damage types.
Leveling up units enhances their effectiveness. Use the same troop repeatedly to level them up. Refresh your Combat Units and Stratagems for better options. Elemental Reactions work as they do in the overworld – use them strategically!
Even defeat earns you Wargame Medals, accumulating towards rewards. Winning yields more medals, but consistent participation guarantees rewards, even at a slower pace.
