《最终幻想XVI》PC版的售价为49.99美元，豪华版售价为69.99美元。豪华版包含游戏的两个故事扩展包：“陨落的回响”和“涨潮”。为了在发售前吊足玩家胃口，游戏现已推出可游玩试玩版。试玩版包含游戏序章以及一个专注于战斗的“圣约挑战”模式。试玩版的进度可以继承到完整游戏中。
此外，FFXVI总监高井浩司在接受Rock Paper Shotgun采访时表示，为了配合PC版的发布，“我们将帧率上限提升至240fps，并且您可以选择各种升级技术，例如NVIDIA DLSS3、AMD FSR和Intel XeSS。”
