Konami and FIFA's collaboration for the FIFAe World Cup 2024 is a resounding success! The competition, spanning both console and mobile platforms, is set to thrill viewers worldwide. Tune in to witness intense matches from December 9th, taking place in Saudi Arabia with a live audience and global stream.

As previously announced, this exciting partnership brings the FIFAe World Cup to a global stage. The tournament features a thrilling console division with over 54 players from 22 countries battling it out in 2v2 matches, and a highly competitive mobile division with 16 players representing 16 countries in 1v1 showdowns. These finalists emerged from qualifiers held in October.

The stakes are high, with a $100,000 prize pool up for grabs, including a substantial $20,000 grand prize! Even spectators can participate in the excitement: Viewers watching the streams from December 9th to 12th can earn up to 4,000 eFootball points and 400,000 GP through daily bonuses.

This collaboration marks a significant achievement for Konami. Following high-profile partnerships with football legends like Messi and pop culture icons such as Captain Tsubasa, this FIFAe World Cup involvement further solidifies their position in the gaming world. However, the broader appeal to casual players who may not typically watch esports tournaments remains to be seen.
