Following your Fire Canyon adventure, Precursor Basin presents a less perilous, yet arguably more challenging, Zoomer-based level in Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. This guide will help you conquer its demanding objectives and earn every trophy.

Herding Moles

Begin by gently nudging the moles towards their holes using the Zoomer. Utilize the Zoomer's hop for sharp turns to keep them corralled. Return four moles to their burrows to receive a Power Cell from the Geologist in Rock Village.

Catching Flying Lurkers

These elusive creatures require a chase. Anticipate their turns and intercept them with the Zoomer. The final Lurker yields another Power Cell.

Gorge Race: Beat the Clock

The Gambler challenges you to a 45-second Gorge race. Utilize Lurkers for extra height, and strategically collect Blue Eco for speed boosts. Avoid Dark Eco Crates. A skillful 180-degree turn after the pit is crucial. A faster time (under 40 seconds) unlocks a trophy. Victory earns you a Power Cell from the Gambler.

Power Cell Retrieval: Across the Lake

Starting from the slope (Image 1), navigate the narrow bridge and utilize hops to traverse the islands (Images 2-5). Maintain top speed for the final jump to the Precursor Orb.

Dark Eco Plant Remedy

Use Green Eco to cleanse the purple plants. Efficient driving and timely Green Eco replenishment are key. A Power Cell awaits completion.

Purple Precursor Ring Challenge

This time trial requires navigating a series of rings before time expires. The most challenging sections involve aerial hops off bridges. Completing this earns a Power Cell.

Blue Precursor Ring Challenge

The Blue Precursor Rings present a significantly harder challenge. Precise driving and skillful use of the Zoomer's hop are essential, particularly when navigating the pillar and the aerial ring over the lake.

Careful navigation is needed near the Dark Eco Plants and across the lake. The final leg requires precise maneuvering along narrow paths. Success yields another Power Cell.

Scout Fly Collection

Locate and collect all seven Scout Flies scattered throughout Precursor Basin. Their locations range from near the mole holes to the higher areas and islands. This final objective rewards you with a Power Cell. Master these challenges, and Precursor Basin will be conquered!
