Diablo Immortal's latest update, Patch 3.2: Shattered Sanctuary, concludes the game's initial chapter with a climactic showdown against the Lord of Terror, Diablo. Sanctuary has become Diablo's infernal playground, and after a two-year quest to gather Worldstone shards, players finally confront him. Longtime Diablo fans will recognize familiar faces, including the returning Tyrael, and will have the opportunity to acquire the legendary sword, El'druin.
Shattered Sanctuary introduces World's Crown, a chilling new zone featuring blood-red lakes, gravity-defying upward-falling rain, and menacing, jagged structures. This expansive, dark, and unsettling zone is the largest Blizzard has added to the game to date.
The centerpiece of the update is the multi-phase battle against Diablo. This challenging encounter tests players' skills, as Diablo unleashes iconic attacks like Firestorm and Shadow Clones, amplified by the power of the final Worldstone shard. A new attack, Breath of Fear, adds another layer of difficulty, demanding swift reflexes and strategic positioning. Players will utilize El'druin to counter Diablo's most potent abilities.
New Helliquary Bosses require coordinated teamwork, while Challenger Dungeons offer unpredictable modifiers, forcing players to adapt quickly. The updated bounties are also noteworthy, providing challenging gameplay and superior loot compared to other areas.
