New Feature Allows Players To Clear Bosses Without Combat

In Death Stranding 2: On The Beach (DS2), players can now bypass boss battles without engaging in combat, thanks to a groundbreaking feature announced by Director Hideo Kojima on the latest episode of Koji Pro radio broadcasts on April 14. This feature is designed to assist players who may find boss fights challenging.
Kojima detailed that upon reaching a game over screen during a boss fight, players can opt to press "continue." This choice enables them to move past the battle and continue the game's storyline. Instead of combat, players will be treated to images and text descriptions of the fight, similar to a visual novel, ensuring they don't miss out on critical narrative elements.
Death Stranding 2 Around 95% Complete

Hideo Kojima recently shared that Death Stranding 2 is approximately 95% complete. He likened the game's progress to "10 o’clock (PM)" in a 24-hour cycle, indicating that just a couple of hours—or final touches—remain before completion.
The sequel picks up directly after the events of the first game. During last month's South by South West (SXSW) event, Kojima Productions and Sony unveiled a 10-minute trailer, shedding light on DS2's narrative and introducing new characters that have sparked excitement among fans.

The trailer also featured a character resembling Solid Snake, along with other intriguing story snippets and new gameplay features. The event also revealed details about DS2’s collector’s edition and pre-order bonuses.
