Neowiz has just announced that they’re all set to celebrate Brown Dust 2’s 1.5-year anniversary with a massive cyberpunk-themed event. A bunch of festivities have been organised and you can get your hands on a variety of digital rewards, fresh merchandise, and more lore about the Brown Dust universe. The celebration begins on December 17th, with pre-registration currently open.
Pre-registering for events is a new trend we’ve started seeing. It began with pre-registrations for upcoming games, which offered numerous rewards based on milestones achieved. But this trend is now part of in-game celebrations and we’ve seen other JRPGs like Blue Archive do this as well. And like with pre-ordering, you stand to earn some extra goodies just for signing up in advance.
By pre-registering for Brown Dust 2’s 1.5-year anniversary event, you can snag 10 draw tickets to add some new characters to your roster. The JRPG’s merch lineup also receives an upgrade with new digital goods and physical items like ASMR content featuring the beloved character, Eclipse. Whether in-game or outside, there are goodies for everyone.
For lore enthusiasts, the anniversary event page has something special. Backstories for a lot of the newly added characters have been updated, giving you new insights into your favourite Brown Dust 2 heroes. Alongside this, a roadmap teasing the upcoming content in 2025 was also released, ensuring you know what’s on the horizon next year.

Before the birthday celebrations begin, a live broadcast has also been scheduled for December 12th at 7:00 pm KST on the official YouTube channel.
