PC Alpha Went Live on August 6, 2024!
The Delta Force PC Alpha Test kicked off at around August 5, 9 p.m. EDT / 6 p.m. PDT. However, the developers announced on August 30 that the Alpha Test would conclude on September 8, or September 7, 8 p.m. EDT / 5 p.m. PDT for players in the United States.
Gamers had multiple opportunities to join the Alpha Test through various channels:
- Delta Force Official Website
- Delta Force Official Steam Page
- Watching Delta Force Twitch Streams to receive Twitch Drops
Additionally, the official Twitter/X account frequently offered Alpha Test codes during special events and milestones.
July 24 Update: New Alpha Test Date Announced
Delta Force announced the rescheduled Alpha Test for August 6, 2024. Enthusiasts could try their luck at gaining access through the official website, the official Steam page, or by securing keys via Twitch drops or giveaways.
An example of a giveaway was shared on their official Twitter/X account, where 100 lucky fans received codes for the Alpha Test.
July 16 Update: Alpha Test Postponed
From the pre-alpha test held from July 11 to 15, the developers identified several critical issues that disrupted gameplay for the limited group of participants. As a result, they had to postpone the planned July Alpha Test to ensure the best possible experience for players.
Initially Scheduled Alpha Test
Delta Force was originally set to hold its Alpha Test starting July 18, with no end date disclosed at the time. Fans could attempt to gain access by filling out player surveys on the official website, requesting access on the official Steam page, or watching Twitch streams to receive Steam keys through Twitch Drops.
The pre-alpha test from July 11 to 15 was a stress test that allowed a small subset of players early access. Requesting access across all available platforms might have granted even earlier entry.
The Alpha Test was exclusively for PC, playable via the game's official client or through Steam. Access to one platform did not guarantee access to the other, as cross-progression was not available during the alpha phase.
