"War Strategy Launches Open Alpha in Select Regions"

Marauder Tech Games has launched the open alpha test for their latest tactical game, Price of Glory: War Strategy, immersing players in a classic medieval fantasy setting. This turn-based, head-to-head strategy game offers an engaging experience with its gritty medieval world, featuring diverse environments from deserts and forests to lava-filled arenas. Each turn, players must strategically advance their troops, position them effectively, and make critical tactical decisions to protect their stronghold while weakening the enemy's defenses.

Here’s the Setup

In Price of Glory: War Strategy, players can choose from a variety of factions and troop types, including scouts for reconnaissance, knights for frontline assaults, and healers to keep their forces in fighting shape. The game supports asynchronous play, allowing players to take up to 24 hours per turn to plan their moves meticulously. For those seeking immediate action, the blitz mode offers fast-paced battles in just five-minute rounds.

The game caters to all kinds of players with different modes. Skirmish mode is perfect for quick, low-stakes battles where you can experiment with new strategies. For a more competitive experience, the game features tournaments with single-elimination brackets and significant rewards. Additionally, Price of Glory offers salt tournaments and cash tournaments. Salt tournaments are free-to-enter, with players earning salt crystals through watching ads or completing small tasks. These crystals can then be used to participate in cash tournaments for a chance to win real money.

The core resource in the game is Animo, which players use to recruit new units, move them, attack, or activate special abilities. Given the limited amount of Animo available each turn, strategic decision-making is crucial, particularly in matches against other players.

The open alpha test for Price of Glory: War Strategy is currently available for Android users in North America and Oceania. If you're located in these regions, you can dive into the game by downloading it from the Google Play Store.
