Unlocking the Unbound Emote Pose in FFXIV: A Guide

With the exciting release of patch 7.16 in *Final Fantasy XIV*, players have the opportunity to dive into new quests and snag some fresh cosmetics, including the coveted Pose of the Unbound emote. Here’s your guide to unlocking this stylish new emote in *FFXIV*.

Getting the Pose of the Unbound Emote in FFXIV

To secure the Pose of the Unbound emote, you'll embark on the quest titled "Imposing Views." Head to Ul’dah – Steps of Thal, and find the Unbound Agent NPC at coordinates X:12.5, Y:11.5 to start this quest.

Before "Imposing Views" becomes available, you must first complete the "Picking Up the Torch" quest. To do this, you’ll need to finish all five role quests in the game. This involves reaching level 100 with a Tank, Healer, Ranged DPS, Melee DPS, and Magical Ranged DPS class. After hitting these milestones, you'll need to pick up their respective role quests in Tulliyollal and see them through to completion. Only then will "Picking Up the Torch" unlock, paving the way for "Imposing Views" in Ul’dah.

Fortunately, "Imposing Views" is a straightforward quest. Simply journey to the Sagolii Desert, engage in conversation with Apyaahi multiple times, and take down a few monsters. Upon completing these tasks, you'll be rewarded with the Pose of the Unbound emote.

To flaunt your new emote, just type /unbound or /poseoftheunbound into the chat box and press Enter. Watch as your character strikes a playful, Jojo-inspired pose that’s sure to catch the eyes of your fellow adventurers.

And that's everything you need to know about unlocking the Pose of the Unbound emote in *FFXIV*. For more tips, reviews like our *Dawntrail* analysis, and the latest on patch release schedules, make sure to visit The Escapist.
