"Unlocking the Top Horse in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2"

In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, the vast open world beckons you to explore, and what better way to do so than on horseback? With various horse-related activities at your disposal, it's clear that walking everywhere on foot is not the way to go. Here's your guide to securing the best horse in the game.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Best Horse

The crown jewel among horses in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* is none other than Pebbles. To harness the full potential of this steed, you'll need to unlock the Good Old Pebbles perk. While there are other horses with marginally superior stats, Pebbles stands out due to its affordability and ease of acquisition.

Once you've unlocked the perk, Pebbles boasts impressive stats:

  • Stamina: 217
  • Capacity: 353
  • Speed: 53
  • Courage: 12

How to Get Pebbles

You can obtain Pebbles early in the game by heading to Semine and negotiating with the horse trader NPC. If your Speech skill is high enough, you might persuade the trader to give you Pebbles for free. Otherwise, you'll need to pay a modest fee.

To unlock Pebbles' full potential, you must ride approximately 35 km with him. This journey will unlock the Good Old Pebbles perk, significantly boosting his stats and making him one of the top horses in the game. Given the cost and difficulty of acquiring other horses, Pebbles remains the best choice, as the slight stat improvements offered by other horses are not worth the high price.

Other Horse Options in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

If you're interested in exploring other equine options, consider these alternatives:

  • Herring (Trosky Castle): Available for free after completing the quest "For Whom the Bell Tolls," though it lags slightly behind Pebbles in capacity and speed. A perk is required to maximize its potential.
  • Kincsern (Kuttenberg): Boasts the highest stamina (235) and speed (60) in the game, but comes with a hefty price tag of 5,260 groschen.
  • Pisek Lad (Kuttenberg): An excellent all-rounder that surpasses Pebbles in speed and courage, yet costs a steep 7,560 groschen.

As you can see, the other horses come with exorbitant prices for only marginal stat improvements, reaffirming Pebbles as the best horse you can get in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*.
