The new year in Pokémon GO brings a wave of new Pokémon, and Shroodle is the latest addition. Unlike many previous releases, however, Shroodle isn't readily available in the wild.
Shroodle's Pokémon GO Debut:
The Poison-type Shroodle arrives in Pokémon GO on January 15, 2025, as part of the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. Following the event, it will remain accessible.
Shiny Shroodle:
At launch, a Shiny Shroodle is unavailable in Pokémon GO. Its Shiny variant will likely appear in a future event, possibly a Poison-type or Team GO Rocket-themed one.
Catching Shroodle:

Shroodle isn't found in the wild. The only method to obtain it is by hatching 12KM Eggs. These eggs, collected from January 15th onwards, have a chance of containing Shroodle. Its hatch rate is expected to be higher during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event.
Obtaining 12KM Eggs:
12KM Eggs are a rare commodity, obtainable solely by defeating Team GO Rocket Leaders (Sierra, Arlo, Cliff) or Giovanni. The Fashion Week: Taken Over event provides an excellent opportunity to stock up on these eggs, as Team GO Rocket activity will be increased.
Acquiring Grafaiai:

Grafaiai, Shroodle's evolution, also debuts on January 15th. It cannot be hatched or found in the wild; evolution from Shroodle is the only way to obtain it. This requires 50 Shroodle Candy, necessitating multiple Shroodle hatches or using a Shroodle as your buddy.
Pokémon GO is available now.
