Serial Cleaner, the quirky crime-scene cleanup puzzler, is making a comeback! Remember the 2019 release? This time around, it's hitting mobile platforms. Will it be a revamped and polished experience, or simply a port? Only time will tell.

The game throws you into the gritty, yet cartoonish, 1970s. As Bob Leaner, your job is to discreetly eliminate evidence of mob violence – bodies, bloodstains, the whole shebang – while dodging watchful police officers.

Our previous review (2019) deemed it promising but unfinished. Developer Plug-in Digital is now self-publishing the mobile version, suggesting a chance for improvements.

A Retro Revival?

Pre-registration is open, with a February 11th, 2025 release date. While significant updates aren't guaranteed, given the mixed reception of the original, some polish would be welcome. However, a substantial overhaul might be unrealistic given the time elapsed.

The core concept remains captivating, but a simple mobile re-release dampens expectations slightly. Nevertheless, Android users and those experiencing compatibility issues with older iOS versions might consider this an early gift.
