Old School RuneScape Mobile Celebrates Sixth Anniversary with Massive Update!

Jagex has unveiled a significant update for Old School RuneScape's mobile version, marking its sixth anniversary. This anniversary update brings a wealth of improvements designed to enhance gameplay. Let's dive into the details and see if you agree with the changes.

What's New in This Update?

The Old School RuneScape Sixth Anniversary update focuses primarily on streamlining and improving the mobile experience. Expect major and minor adjustments for easier, faster, and more personalized gameplay. Key features include a revamped mobile UI, Side Stones, hotkeys, and more.

The new UI allows for extensive customization. Side Stones, acting as a central hub for combat and casual play, provide quick access to inventory, equipment, spells, and friends. Players can now assign up to five hotkeys directly to the screen, with easy switching between up to three customizable layouts.

The update also introduces the Menu Entry Swapper (MES), allowing players to modify interactions with NPCs and items to suit their preferred playstyle. A new Popout Panel offers convenient access to XP tracking, ground item indicators, and other helpful information. Finally, HiScores are now available on the mobile client, enabling players to track their progress and compare rankings.
