Conquer Kupolovrax: A Comprehensive Project Tower Boss Guide

Kupolovrax, a formidable boss in Project Tower, presents a significant challenge due to its projectile-heavy attacks. This guide outlines effective strategies to overcome this enemy and emerge victorious. While targeting its illuminated segments seems intuitive, attacks directed at its carapace also inflict damage.

Phase 1

Initially, Kupolovrax remains stationary on the platform. Maintain a safe distance, consistently fire upon the boss, and employ these evasion techniques:

  • Orb Ring Fall: Dodge roll just before the descending orb rings impact. Look upwards to time your roll effectively.
  • Orb Scattershot Fall: Strafe to the side while watching the falling orbs. A dodge roll provides additional safety.
  • Orb Line Push: This is the most challenging Phase 1 attack. The most reliable method is to wait for the first line to approach, perform a forward dodge roll, and immediately dash forward.
  • Stomp: Simply jump over the resulting shockwave. You can even continue firing during the jump.

Phase 2

Kupolovrax takes flight around 66% health. Continue maintaining distance and firing while utilizing these evasion strategies:

  • Orb Scattershot Fall: The slow descent of these orbs allows for easy avoidance by strafing into the gaps between them. Keep your eyes on the sky.
  • Orb Ring Push: Hold your position until the rings are about to hit, then dodge roll left or right to evade.
  • Orb Line Push: Similar to Phase 1, wait for the first line, dodge roll forward, and immediately dash forward. Alternatively, dodge roll left or right and dash in the opposite direction.

Phase 3

Triggered at approximately 33% health, Phase 3 resembles Phase 2 but introduces a modified attack:

  • Modified Orb Ring Push: This three-part attack consists of converging rings, followed by two quick ring pushes, and finally, falling orb rings. Dodge roll left just before the initial rings, immediately dash right to avoid the quick pushes, and then walk forward to clear the falling orbs.

Mastering these strategies will significantly improve your chances of defeating Kupolovrax in Project Tower, available on PC and PS5.
