Initial Troubleshooting Steps:

• Graphics API: Experiment with changing the graphics API between Vulkan and DirectX 11.
• V-Sync: Disable V-Sync in the game's graphics settings.
• Multithreading: Deactivate multithreading in the graphics settings.

If the above steps fail, this workaround allows for a less disruptive game restart instead of a full PC reboot:

1. Launch the game.
2. Open Task Manager: Access Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc). Click "Details."
3. Adjust Affinity: Right-click on POE2.exe. Select "Set Affinity."
4. Disable Cores: Uncheck the boxes for CPU 0 and CPU 1.

This method doesn't eliminate freezes entirely, but enables you to force-quit the game via Task Manager, restarting it without a full system restart. The downside is that this process must be repeated each time you launch Path of Exile 2. Further freezes will still require a PC reboot.
