Parallel Experiment, the cooperative puzzle game from Eleven Puzzles, has a new Steam release date: June 5th. This date also marks the simultaneous launch on Android and iOS devices. Initially slated for a March release, the developers opted for a delay to ensure the full game experience, including all planned puzzles, mechanics, and the mobile version, would be available across all platforms. This means cross-play functionality will be available from day one.
Step into the shoes of detectives Ally and Old Dog as you unravel a twisted experiment orchestrated by the Cryptic Killer. Solve over 80 interconnected puzzles, requiring teamwork and communication to progress. Expect a diverse range of challenges, from deciphering codes and manipulating water flows to hacking computers and even dealing with a less-than-sober individual. The game's noir-inspired setting and comic book art style create a captivating and immersive atmosphere, adding to the tension of your race against time.
Beyond the core puzzle-solving, you and your partner can engage in retro-style mini-games, including darts, claw machines, and match-three challenges, each with a cooperative element. Interactive dialogues with dynamic NPC responses add depth to the mystery, while the option to playfully annoy your partner—knocking on windows, shaking screens, or doodling—adds a layer of lighthearted fun.
Parallel Experiment boasts five times the content of Eleven Puzzles' previous title, promising a significantly enhanced cooperative gameplay experience. Visit the Steam page for further details.
