While Palworld is still in early access, Pocketpair keeps players engaged with regular updates that introduce unique pals and exciting new islands. The first expansion island, Sakurajima, brought a few new pals, but the Palworld Feybreak update significantly expands the roster with over 20 new pals.
New players diving into the Palworld Feybreak update might struggle to pinpoint Feybreak Island's location. Given the vast expanse of the Palpagos Islands archipelago, finding distant islands can be challenging. This guide will help you navigate the best route to reach Feybreak Island in Palworld.
Feybreak Island Location Guide In Palworld
Feybreak is a large island situated in the far southwest corner of the Palpagos Islands archipelago. You can see Feybreak Island from the southern coast of Mount Obsidian. To reach Feybreak Island in Palworld, begin your journey at Fisherman’s Point, a fast travel location on Mount Obsidian's southern coast. From there, use a flying or water mount to cross the ocean and arrive at Feybreak Island.
If you haven't unlocked the Mount Obsidian region yet, you'll need to reach this fiery island first. Mount Obsidian is one of the tallest locations in Palworld and visible from many areas. Travel southeast and equip heat-resistant armor to unlock fast travel points in Mount Obsidian.
For those who prefer a longer journey, you can head directly to Feybreak Island from Sea Breeze Archipelago, bypassing Fisherman’s Point in Mount Obsidian.
What To Do On Feybreak Island In Palworld
The Feybreak update is the most extensive expansion Palworld has seen to date. This island is over three times larger than Sakurajima, which was released in Summer 2024. Feybreak Island is home to high-level new pals that can pose a significant threat to unprepared players.
Upon arriving at Feybreak Island in Palworld, your first task should be to activate the Scorched Ashland fast travel point on the island's northern coast. As you explore, you'll encounter powerful pals and a new faction of enemies known as the Feybreak Warriors. Activating the Scorched Ashland fast travel point ensures a quick return to the island if you're defeated.
Flying mounts are prohibited on Feybreak Island. Attempting to fly will trigger the warning, “Entering Anti-Air Zone! Dismount your Pal to avoid being shot down.” This warning is serious, as homing missiles will target you if you remain mounted. For exploring Feybreak Island, fast ground mounts like Fenglope are recommended until you disable all missile launchers scattered across the area.
Once you've explored the island, you can focus on capturing the newly added pals or gathering new resources such as Chromalite and Hexolite. These resources are crucial for crafting equipment and constructing new structures introduced in the Palworld Feybreak update.
When you're ready for a challenge, you can raid the Feybreak Tower boss, Bjorn & Bastigor. However, unlike other tower bosses, you must first defeat three alpha pals — Dazzy Noct, Caprity Noct, and Omascul — and collect their bounty tokens to earn the right to face the Feybreak Tower boss.
