NantGames has rolled out a major update for their acclaimed geolocation RPG, *MythWalker*, introducing an exciting new feature called **Tethering**. This marks a groundbreaking shift in the genre, allowing players to team up and experience Mytherra together—no matter where they are in the real world.
Tethering introduces a robust co-op system that enables players to tackle story quests, battle enemies, and gather resources as part of a team. For the first time in this type of geolocation-based RPG, up to three players can join forces and explore the world synchronously—even if they're continents apart.
Once tethered, every player can see and interact with the same map in real time—like the iconic London map—regardless of their actual location. This opens up entirely new ways to play, removing the limitations of local exploration and bringing friends (or strangers) into shared adventures no matter where they are.
Alongside Tethering comes a brand-new enemy type: the **Wyldevae**, ethereal creatures resembling fairies. Though they may appear delicate and magical, these tricksters are far from harmless.

Each variant drops unique items and powers, encouraging players to seek them all out. In addition, new quests have been added to help you uncover the mystery behind the Wyldevae’s sudden appearance and learn more about their role in the ever-expanding lore of Mytherra.
