Konami's developers have provided an update on the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake. Producer Noriaki Okamura confirmed that delivering a high-quality, polished game meeting fan expectations is the studio's top priority for 2025.
Okamura stated in a 4Gamer interview that the team is intensely focused on completing Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater by next year. While the game is currently playable from start to finish, the remaining development time will be dedicated to refining details and enhancing overall quality.
Previous speculation suggested a 2024 release, but that timeline proved unattainable. The remake is now officially targeted for a 2025 launch on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The remake aims to faithfully capture the essence of the original while integrating modern gameplay mechanics and stunning visuals. Beyond graphical enhancements, Okamura also hinted at new features designed to elevate the gaming experience.
Konami unveiled a compelling Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater trailer in late September. This over two-minute cinematic showcase highlights key moments, including the protagonist, antagonists, an exhilarating airdrop sequence, and intense firefights.
