The open beta of Mecha BREAK has recently wrapped up, and the developers at Amazing Seasun are now mulling over some significant changes, including the possibility of making all mechs available from the start. This decision comes in response to the valuable feedback gathered from the community during the open beta, which saw a peak of over 300,000 players and now ranks as the 5th most wishlisted game on Steam.
Mecha BREAK Developers Considering Making All Mechs Free
During the open beta, players could only start with one Break Striker (Mech), and unlocking the other 11 required grinding through multiplayer matches to earn enough in-game currency. This process could be quite time-consuming, leading to suggestions from the community to make all mechs available from the outset. Amazing Seasun is considering this feedback but has not made any final commitments. They believe a live service model is crucial for the game's launch and long-term success, which includes the use of mech modules in 3v3 and 6v6 competitive modes.
