Marvel Snap Deck Guide: September 2024

This month's Marvel Snap (Free) meta is surprisingly balanced, but the new season introduces fresh cards and the "Activate" ability, promising significant shifts. While some Young Avengers cards haven't drastically altered the landscape, the Amazing Spider-Season cards are already making waves. Expect considerable meta changes next month.
The following decks represent the current top performers, assuming a complete card collection. I've also included a couple of more accessible and fun options. Remember, meta decks are constantly evolving!
Top Tier Decks:
Kazar and Gilgamesh

Cards: Ant-Man, Nebula, Squirrel Girl, Dazzler, Kate Bishop, Marvel Boy, Caeira, Shanna, Kazar, Blue Marvel, Gilgamesh, Mockingbird
This surprisingly strong deck leverages low-cost cards buffed by Kazar and Blue Marvel. Marvel Boy provides additional buffs, while Gilgamesh thrives in this high-buff environment. Kate Bishop offers flexibility and cost reduction for Mockingbird.
Silver Surfer Still Reigns Supreme, Part II

Cards: Nova, Forge, Cassandra Nova, Brood, Silver Surfer, Killmonger, Hope Summers, Nocturne, Sebastian Shaw, Copycat, Absorbing Man, Gwenpool
A refined version of the classic Silver Surfer deck. Nova/Killmonger provide early boosts, Forge enhances Brood clones, Gwenpool buffs hand cards, Shaw benefits from buffs, Hope provides extra energy, Cassandra Nova drains opponent power, and Surfer/Absorbing Man secure victory. Copycat replaces Red Guardian as a versatile asset.
Spectrum and Man-Thing Ongoing

Cards: Wasp, Ant-Man, Howard the Duck, Armor, US Agent, Lizard, Captain America, Cosmo, Luke Cage, Ms. Marvel, Man-Thing, Spectrum
This Ongoing archetype utilizes cards with persistent abilities, amplified by Spectrum's end-game buff. The Luke Cage/Man-Thing combo is particularly effective, with Luke protecting against US Agent. Cosmo's utility is also expected to increase.
Discard Dracula

Cards: Blade, Morbius, The Collector, Swarm, Colleen Wing, Moon Knight, Corvus Glaive, Lady Sif, Dracula, Proxima Midnight, MODOK, Apocalypse
A classic Apocalypse-focused Discard deck, enhanced by the buffed Moon Knight. Morbius and Dracula are the key powerhouses, culminating in a powerful final-turn Apocalypse play.
Destroy

Cards: Deadpool, Niko Minoru, X-23, Carnage, Wolverine, Killmonger, Deathlok, Attuma, Nimrod, Knull, Death
The classic Destroy deck, featuring the buffed Attuma. Focus on destroying Deadpool and Wolverine, generating extra energy with X-23, and finishing with Nimrod or Knull.
Fun and Accessible Decks:
Darkhawk's Return

Cards: The Hood, Spider-Ham, Korg, Niko Minoru, Cassandra Nova, Moon Knight, Rockslide, Viper, Proxima Midnight, Darkhawk, Blackbolt, Stature
A fun deck centered around Darkhawk, utilizing Korg and Rockslide to populate the opponent's deck, alongside disruptive cards like Spider-Ham and Cassandra Nova.
Budget Kazar

Cards: Ant-Man, Elektra, Ice Man, Nightcrawler, Armor, Mister Fantastic, Cosmo, Kazar, Namor, Blue Marvel, Klaw, Onslaught
A more accessible version of the Kazar deck, ideal for newer players. While less consistently powerful, it provides valuable experience with the core combo.
The meta is dynamic; the "Activate" ability and new cards will likely cause significant shifts in October. Happy Snapping!
