How to Obtain Lunacy in Limbus Company

Apr 28,2025 Author: Nova

Lunacy is the premium currency in Limbus Company, essential for acquiring new Identities and EGOs. It's the backbone of the game's gacha system, and if you're aiming to unlock all the exciting character variants, amassing Lunacy is crucial.

Similar to many other gacha games, Lunacy is plentiful at the start of your journey in Limbus Company. However, as you progress, the rate at which you earn Lunacy will decrease notably.

How to Get Lunacy in Limbus Company

For beginners, diving into the main story is your best bet for earning Lunacy. Each chapter completion rewards you with approximately 390 Lunacy, and an additional 260 if you manage to complete enough missions with an EX rating. To achieve an EX clear, you must fulfill all the EX objectives for a specific mission. The first-time EX clear of a mission also grants an extra 40 Lunacy, so strive to meet those objectives.

Clearing Luxcavation stages for the first time will also net you Lunacy, but remember, these rewards are one-time only.

Once you've exhausted all the available story quests, your Lunacy gains will start to decline. At this point, your primary methods for acquiring Lunacy will include:

  • Completing or EX clearing event stages.
  • Engaging with Boosted Mirror Dungeons.
  • Uptying Identities.
  • Claiming battle pass rewards.
  • Direct purchases.

Boosted Mirror Dungeons are likely to be your most reliable source of Lunacy. You can tackle up to three of these dungeons each week, earning 750 Lunacy in the process. Weekly resets happen every Wednesday, so make sure to participate regularly. These dungeons can be challenging, so bring your strongest Identities to ensure success.

Events are another excellent opportunity to earn Lunacy, but they're available for a limited time only. To maximize your Lunacy gains, participate in events whenever possible. Don't forget to check all the event rewards to ensure you don't miss out on anything valuable.

Uptying involves upgrading your Sinners' Identities and EGOs. As you increase their Uptie tier, they become more powerful, and reaching Uptie Tier 3 rewards you with 40 Lunacy. While this method is limited compared to Mirror Dungeons, it's a long-term strategy for Lunacy accumulation. Continue leveling up your characters and gather Threads to eventually Uptie your entire roster.

Lastly, the game's battle passes offer substantial resources for enhancing your Sinners, including Lunacy. While there are free tracks available, accessing all the rewards may require a real money investment.
