Jump King, the 2D platformer that has become a true test of patience for gamers who thrive on a challenge, is now available on mobile. Following a limited trial in select countries, Nexile and UKIYO Publishing have officially released the game globally for Android and iOS.
Free to download and play, Jump King completed its mobile soft launch earlier this year in March, debuting in the UK, Canada, the Philippines, and Denmark. It faithfully recreates the punishing jump mechanics that defined its 2019 PC and 2020 console releases.
What to Expect from Jump King on Mobile
You control an armored character with one primary objective: jump. That’s the entire game. However, every leap must be perfectly timed and executed, as one small mistake will send you tumbling all the way back down. Importantly, each jump is automatically saved.
Your ultimate goal is to climb to the very top and meet the legendary Smoking Hot Babe. Be warned: she offers no shortcuts. A single mistimed jump can undo all your progress, forcing you to begin your ascent from the very beginning.
The controls have been expertly adapted for touchscreens. Simply press and hold to charge your jump, then release to launch into the air. The experience is a delicate balance of precision and patience, often disrupted by moments of panic and regrettable choices.
Key Features of the Mobile Version
Jump King Mobile introduces a heart-based system. You begin with 300 hearts and lose one with every fall. A daily fortune wheel offers a chance to win between 10 and 150 hearts, and you can also watch ads to earn more—though this method is capped at 150 free hearts.
The mobile release includes two full expansions. New Babe+ offers a second chapter with a bizarre and demanding new route. Meanwhile, Ghost of the Babe presents a chilling third act, set in a desolate landscape beyond the Philosopher’s Forest.
If you're intrigued, you can download the game now from the Google Play Store.
