Suzerain, the critically acclaimed narrative government simulation game, marks its 4th anniversary with a significant mobile relaunch on December 11th, 2024. Instead of minor celebratory updates, Torpor Games is delivering a major overhaul to the mobile experience.
Originally released on Android in December 2022, Suzerain puts players in the presidential seat of the fictional nation of Sordland, challenging them with complex political dilemmas and consequential choices. This relaunch brings substantial improvements.
The Kingdom of Rizia Expands the Narrative:
The most significant addition is the inclusion of the Kingdom of Rizia storyline, previously unavailable on mobile. This update brings complete narrative parity with the PC version, allowing mobile players to fully explore the political landscapes of both Sordland and Rizia.
New Progression System and Cloud Saves:
Two new features enhance gameplay: Political Influence Levels and Story Points. Players earn experience points (XP) through daily challenges and achievements, unlocking rewards and accelerating progress through the narrative. A new cloud save system ensures game progress is securely stored, although cross-platform saves are not yet implemented.
Freemium Model with Options:
Suzerain adopts a freemium model, offering free access through rewarded video ads that grant Story Points. Alternatively, players can purchase premium story packs (The Republic of Sordland for $19.99 and The Kingdom of Rizia for $14.99) or choose from various subscription options ranging from daily to monthly access. A Lifetime Pass provides permanent, ad-free access to all content.
Launch Details:
The Suzerain mobile relaunch is scheduled for December 11th, 7 PM CET. Download it on the Google Play Store.
