Great news for Android gamers playing *Genshin Impact*—controller support is finally on its way! After a long wait, especially since iOS users enjoyed this feature since 2021, Android players will soon experience the game with the precision and comfort of a controller. The highly anticipated feature will be introduced with the Version 5.5 update.
When Will Genshin Impact Get Controller Support on Android?
Mark your calendars for March 26th, 2025, as that's when you'll be able to seamlessly connect your Android device to a controller and dive into the world of *Genshin Impact* without relying on the touchscreen. The update will officially support four controllers: DualShock 4, DualSense, Xbox Wireless Controller, and Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. Keep in mind, all these controllers require Bluetooth connectivity.
But that's not all Version 5.5 has in store. Alongside controller support, the update will introduce several quality-of-life enhancements. One exciting addition is cross-scene quest tracking, enabling you to follow quests across different areas effortlessly. Simply open the map and teleport directly to your quest destination.
New updates are also coming to boss guides, aimed at helping newer players grasp enemy mechanics more effectively. Additionally, the Artifact system, Serenitea Pot, and Mail system are all set for optimizations. For a detailed breakdown, tune into the Special Program Announcement on March 14th.
