With six unique weapon types available, you can mix and match to create the perfect loadout. Whether you prefer the precision of melee combat or the firepower of guns, *Freedom Wars Remastered* offers customization options for every weapon, enhancing your gameplay experience.
You can acquire new weapons by successfully completing operations or by making purchases at the Zakka store in The Warren. While you can't directly choose the weapons for your Comrades, you have full control over your Accessory's equipment. Switching weapons frequently or sticking to the same ones comes with no benefits or penalties, offering you complete freedom in your strategic choices.

| Light Melee | Quick attacks that are ideal for faster playstyles and targeting single enemies. These weapons can sever Abductor limbs without the need for a Flare Knife. |
| Heavy Melee | Features wide arcing attacks that deliver substantial damage. Well-placed hits can affect multiple limbs of Abductors, multiplying the damage impact. Charged attacks can propel you into the air at the end of a combo, though they slightly reduce your movement speed when equipped. |
| Polearm | Most attacks involve charging through enemies, helping you evade incoming attacks. Charged-up attacks allow you to throw the polearm for significant damage from a safe distance. |
| Assault Weapons | Boasts a high total ammo capacity, making it perfect for gun-focused builds. These can be fired even when you're grappled with your Thorne, offering better angles and safe shooting distances. |
| Portable Artillery | Delivers high single-shot damage but comes with a low overall ammo capacity. Its explosive AOE shots can hit multiple limbs simultaneously, increasing damage output. Equipping this weapon slightly slows your movement speed. |
