Freedom Wars Remastered: How To Use The Cell Garden

Quick Links

The Cell Garden is a crucial area in your Panopticon that you'll encounter early in the main storyline of Freedom Wars Remastered. It serves as a safe haven for farming resources, away from the perils of field operations. Throughout the game, you'll discover multiple Cell Gardens, but the method to locate them remains consistent across different levels. Let's delve into how to find these Cell Gardens and understand their mechanics for resource farming.

Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances In Freedom Wars Remastered

Your journey to the Cell Garden begins with a mission from Mattias, who wants you to investigate a ghost girl story. To reach the Cell Garden, head to the main cell block of Level 2: 2-A000. From your cell, glance to the left corner of the block to spot a small room resembling an elevator. Interact with it to be transported to 2-E165, the same location where you encountered Enzo.

Upon entering 2-E165, follow the right wall to another small room equipped with a device that will take you to 2-G100. The final step involves using the device in the far room of 2-G100, which will lead you directly to the Cell Garden.

The route to the Cell Garden is uniform across all levels, and unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement can significantly reduce the time spent navigating to it. Once you've completed the main quest associated with the Cell Garden, you can visit it or any other Cell Garden at your leisure. However, it's wise to acquire a specific Entitlement first to enhance your experience.

Each device that transports you to the next room or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon, making them easy to identify.

How Does The Cell Garden Work In Freedom Wars Remastered

The Cell Garden's mechanics differ during the main story mission compared to regular visits. Here's how it functions outside the initial quest:

  • You're allotted one minute before being ejected from the room.
  • The room's layout changes with each visit, keeping the experience dynamic.
  • You'll find eight resources scattered across the room, appearing as small green orbs.

To maximize your time in the Cell Garden, consider purchasing Entitlements from the Window on Liberty. These upgrades can extend your stay, with the first upgrade allowing two minutes, available once you reach CODE level 3. This is particularly beneficial as some layouts include puzzle elements that may require additional time to navigate effectively.
