How To Get The Lock On Pistol

The Lock On Pistol, classified as a Rare item, can be found scattered as floor loot or tucked away in chests across the Fortnite map. Although its rarity might make it a bit elusive, diligent looting of chests increases your chances of securing this valuable weapon.

For a more targeted approach, try fishing at designated Fishing Spots with a Fishing Rod. These spots boost the odds of reeling in a Rare weapon, giving you a solid chance at landing the Lock On Pistol.

How To Use The Lock On Pistol

The Lock On Pistol operates much like other semi-automatic pistols in Fortnite, delivering 25 damage per shot. Its distinguishing feature, however, is the Lock-On mechanism. When aiming down sights, a targeting circle appears around your reticle. As long as your enemy remains within this circle, every bullet you fire will strike them, regardless of whether they're gliding through the air or hiding in foliage—unless they're behind cover.

Keep in mind, the Lock-On feature is effective only within a 50-meter range, so staying close to your target is key. While the pistol can also be used in a spray-and-pray fashion when fired from the hip, this method won't activate the Lock-On feature, potentially reducing its effectiveness.
