Squad Busters is ditching win streaks! Get ready for major changes coming December 16th. This means the pressure-cooker system of consecutive wins and its associated rewards is being retired. But don't fret – your highest win streak will remain a permanent achievement on your profile.
Why the Change?
The win streak system, while intended to celebrate player skill, instead created unnecessary pressure and frustration for many players. To compensate for its removal, Squad Busters is awarding exclusive emotes to players who reached certain win streak milestones (0-9, 10, 25, 50, and 100) before December 16th. Unfortunately, coins spent on win streaks won't be refunded to maintain game balance.
Player Reactions
The community is split on this change. While some welcome the move towards a less pay-to-win experience, others are less enthused, particularly given the perceived underwhelming compensation.
