Elden Ring's famed "Let Me Solo Her" shifts focus from Malenia to conquer Shadow of the Erdtree's challenging new boss, Messmer the Impaler. Known for his legendary Malenia defeats, this YouTuber is now assisting players struggling with the expansion's mandatory and notoriously difficult boss fight.

Malenia, Blade of Miquella, was long considered Elden Ring's ultimate challenge. However, Messmer the Impaler has quickly earned a similar reputation, adding to the frustration of players unable to complete the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC solo.

Let Me Solo Her (Klein Tsuboi), after a "Final Malenia soloing stream," has dedicated his efforts to helping players overcome Messmer. His recent YouTube activity, including a video titled "Let me solo him," confirms this shift in focus. This transition was anticipated, as he previously planned to retire from Malenia runs in February, before the DLC launch.

Elden Ring Legend Takes on Messmer the Impaler

True to his style, Let Me Solo Her tackles Messmer with his signature minimalist loadout: two katanas, a jar helmet, and a loincloth. Despite this unconventional approach, he consistently inflicts substantial damage. Having reportedly battled Malenia over 6,000 times since Elden Ring's 2022 release, his expertise is undeniable. He previously expressed anticipation for the challenge presented by Messmer and the DLC's overall difficulty.

The Shadow of the Erdtree expansion's difficulty has drawn criticism from some players, prompting FromSoftware to release an update aimed at improving the overall experience. Bandai Namco also suggested players level up the Scadutree Blessing to aid in defeating the new bosses. However, for those still struggling, the prospect of encountering Let Me Solo Her in co-op offers a welcome lifeline against Messmer the Impaler.
