Deadlock's February Update: Minor Tweaks, Major Impacts
Valve continues its steady stream of Deadlock updates, this time focusing on smaller adjustments to four heroes and select items. This marks the fifth update of 2025 and the first for February, highlighting Valve's shift to a more reactive update schedule based on need rather than a rigid timetable.
Calico suffered significant nerfs. Her Return to Shadows ability received a substantial cooldown increase (ten seconds) and a 20% speed reduction shifted to tier 2. The damage output of her tier 2 Leaping Slash was also decreased.
Sinclair received a visual overhaul with updated sounds and animations. More significantly, his Rabbit Hex ability is now area-of-effect (AoE). Holliday and Wraith also experienced nerfs, though the specifics weren't detailed.
Item changes include a reduction in stacks and removal of the health bonus from Ammo Scavenger. Furthermore, Extra Stamina no longer boosts fire rate, and Restorative Shot no longer increases weapon damage.
