Finnish game developer Kuuasema has unveiled Cthulu Keeper, an exciting new comedic strategy game drawing inspiration from the legendary works of H.P. Lovecraft, and perhaps even echoing the vibes of Bullfrog's iconic 1997 game, Dungeon Keeper. Currently under development for PC, this game promises a thrilling experience for fans of the genre.
In Cthulu Keeper, players will embark on a journey to "build their very own cult and generate fear and chaos around them," set against the backdrop of the 1920s. The gameplay involves constructing a lair, delving into dark research, and summoning a variety of Lovecraftian-inspired monsters. Players will expand their influence by recruiting cultists, canvassing the streets, and fulfilling various objectives. However, the path to power is fraught with challenges, as rival cults and the authorities will attempt to thwart your plans. To maintain your dominion, you'll need to strategically employ traps and spells to defend your lair.
