TRAGsoft is developing a roguelike spin-off to their popular monster-taming RPG, Coromon. Coromon: Rogue Planet is slated for release in 2025 across multiple platforms, including Android. A new trailer accompanies the announcement, offering a glimpse into the game's features.
Key Features of Coromon: Rogue Planet
The game retains the classic Coromon turn-based combat system but integrates roguelite elements. Players will explore the ever-changing Veluan wilderness, featuring over ten dynamic biomes.
A unique "rescue and recruit" mechanic allows players to unlock seven distinct characters, each with unique playstyles, by aiding them in the wild. Over 130 monsters, each with varying elemental affinities, personalities, and skills, await discovery.
A meta-progression system enables continuous character and equipment upgrades. Players will gather resources and collaborate with others to unravel an interstellar spaceship mystery.
