If you were as blown away by the animation in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse as I was, and found yourself questioning your life choices while marveling at BUCK's consistent excellence in projects like Love, Death + Robots and Secret Level, you're in for a treat. The acclaimed animation and design powerhouse, BUCK, has just unveiled its gaming division, BUCK Games.
This exciting announcement coincides with the launch of The Electric State: Kid Cosmo on Netflix Games, a game that intertwines with the film's narrative. BUCK is no stranger to the gaming world; they previously introduced the colorful roguelite puzzler Let’s! Revolution!. With over two decades of expertise in animation and design, and a clientele that includes giants like Apple, Riot Games, and Microsoft, BUCK is set to bring its signature quality to mobile gaming through its new BUCK Games branch.
Given their impressive portfolio, we can expect nothing less than top-notch quality in their future mobile game releases.
“Developing a game connected to a larger world was a new challenge, and demanded adaptability and ingenuity from our team,” says Michael Highland, Creative Director of BUCK Games. “We set out with an ambitious, unconventional vision, and our partners pushed us to make it the best version possible.”
While you wait for more from BUCK Games, dive into The Electric State: Kid Cosmo on Netflix, or explore other top Netflix games if you're curious.
