Netmarble's popular mobile game, *Tower of God: New World*, inspired by the acclaimed webtoon, is gearing up for an exciting update that introduces two new characters and a fresh gameplay system. This update is designed to enhance the experience for both new and seasoned players who have mastered the challenges within the tower.
The first character, Xia Xia, enters the fray as an SSR+ Elite Spy. With the Red Element, and Support and Light Bearer Tags, Xia Xia brings a blend of powerful Area of Effect (AoE) support and HP recovery skills to the battlefield. Her addition is set to shake up team compositions and strategies.
Joining Xia Xia is Zahard, an Adventurer with the Green Element, and Warrior and Fisherman tags. Zahard marks the debut of the new XSR+ grade, a tier designed to differentiate characters that are either an Imaginary (IF) version of an SSR+ character or feature an alternate appearance. While sharing animations and skills with their SSR+ counterparts, XSR+ characters like Zahard boast unique Revolution skills that set them apart, providing players with fresh tactical options.
Alongside these new characters, the update introduces the Pioneer's Remnant System. This feature rewards players who have conquered the tower's Hard Mode with a resource that can be exchanged for growth materials and other valuable rewards, catering especially to hardcore players seeking to further enhance their teams.
To celebrate the arrival of these new characters, *Tower of God: New World* will host two special events: the [Elite Spy] Xia Xia Release Celebration and the [Adventurer] Zahard Release Celebration. These events offer players the chance to obtain either the new characters or other exciting rewards.
